Thatcham Health Centre scores lowest on GP patients survey

Patients have been surveyed about their experiences of 13 GP practices in West Berkshire.

Chapel Row Surgery, The Boat House Surgery and Kintbury and Woolton Hill scored the highest marks.

Thatcham Health Centre scored the lowest.

West Berkshire results are mixed with some practices showing decline in satisfaction but others improving across all measures.

The Boat House Surgery scored a 96 per cent overall experience mark, compared to 65 per cent at Thatcham.

Falkland Surgery and Theale scored the lowest on the table for a good experience of making an appointment.

Chapel Road scored the highest for getting through on the phone.

Over the last year, 60.4 per cent of appointments were face-to-face in West Berkshire in June 2023 compared to 69 per cent.

A total of 81.3 per cent of appointments took place within two weeks of request in June 2023.

Around 14k blood pressure checks were carried out in community pharmacies in 2022/23.
