Angels, artists and authors cemetery tour this evening

Friends of Newtown Road Cemetery hosts
Newtown Road cemetery in Newbury will open its doors this evening (Wed), for special midsummer conducted tours.
Mayor of Newbury, Howard Bairstow is invited along to the two tours, exploring the historic aspects of the cemetery, including artists and authors buried in the grounds and the facts behind some fascinating gravestones, at the open evening hosted by the Friends of Newtown Cemetery.
Displays and refreshments available, with the cemetery open from 6pm.
An introductory tour starts at 6.30pm, followed at 7.45pm by the friends' popular Angels, Artists and Authors tour. Both tours last around one hour and are free of charge. Any donations welcome.
