Animal Magic Day in Newbury

People will have the chance to meet an array of animals in the Market Place in Newbury today (Wednesday)

TODAY (Wednesday) is not just any day in Newbury's Market Place.

For today, an array of animals are set to descend on the Market Place for Animal Magic Day – an annual event that provides children and adults with the opportunity to meet various animals, including donkeys, rabbits, ferrets and guinea pigs.

Several local animal groups are also expected to be on hand at the event, while people will have the opportunity to ask Falkland Vets about their pets.

In addition, there are set to be a number of activities for children, including a colouring competition and animal face painting.

The fun starts at 10am.
