Another blow for Newbury jobs as IT firm calls in administrators

Three hundred and nineteen jobs have already gone, sixty two of the posts from the company's Benham Valence office.

A spokeswoman for the firm’s administrators FTI Consulting, Kathryn Bowditch, confirmed that 2e2's lenders may take over.
Joint administrator at FTI Consulting added that talks were currently ongoing with a number of interested parties in the sale of the business.
The firm had racked up debts of £270m, despite generating £395m of revenue in 2011, and failed to secure additional funding.
Newburytoday.co.uk has this morning received reports that staff that have been made redundant have yet to receive any pay for January.
