Anti-nuclear protesters march to Aldermaston

The march is part of a three year protest by Action Atomic Weapons Eradication (AAWE) to put pressure on ministers to abolish Trident, the UKs nuclear deterrent.
Local Area Police Commander, Supt Robin Rickard, said: “Measures are already in place to notify local residents and those who might be affected by protests of this nature.
"Our aim is to ensure that there is minimal disruption caused to local residents.
“We respect the right to protest and will respond if necessary in a proportionate and appropriate way to minimise any negative impact on communities in the area.”
