Anxious wait for A Level results is over

THE wait is finally over for hundreds of anxious West Berkshire pupils as A Level exam results are in.
The district's sixth formers will learn their fate this morning (Thursday), including whether or not they got into their chosen university.
The Newburytoday.co.uk team will be visiting local schools for all the results and interviews with pupils and teachers, so log back on throughout the day for the results as they come in.
Tomorrow (Friday) students will be offered a post A Level exam result advice service at Newbury College.
The Advice and Guidance Day will be held with the aim of allowing students to discuss their options for the future.
The college is particularly interested in attracting those who did not get the grades they wanted to given them advice on how to get back on track.
The drop in session will be held at the college's Monk's Lane campus from 10am until 3pm and is aimed at anyone who has started and completed AS Level, A Level, National Diploma and Diploma Level three course.
Additionally, students wanting advice can call university admission service, UCAS, on 0808 100 8000.
