Appeal for bracelet lost in Newbury
Has anybody seen this bracelet?
The bracelet belongs to Karen Attwood, whose husband Rickie brought it for her, three weeks before he died in November 2020, of heart failure from complications after catching Covid-19. He was aged just 57.
Mrs Attwood, who is currently living in Shaw-cum-Donnington, said: "I have worn the bracelet every day since Rickie gave it to me and I am devastated. If anybody finds it I would be so grateful."
The silver bracelet is from Greece and matches a necklace that Mrs Attwood's husband had given her earlier in the year.
She said that she went out this afternoon (Wednesday) between 2pm and 4pm with her nine-month-old grandson Franco - first to Donnington Cricket Club car park, to play in the park, and then to the retail park to TK Maxx.
Mrs Attwood said: "The bracelet is quite heavy and I'm surprised I didn't hear it drop. The sentimental value to me is priceless. It would mean so much to me to get it back."
If you find the bracelet, please contact the Newbury Weekly News so we can return it to Mrs Attwood.
