Appeal for witnesses after attempted bag snatch near Newbury school

The 38-year-old was walking alone down an alleyway close to the school in Newbury when the incident occurred, shortly after 7pm.
The offender was male, wearing dark clothing and was on a bike, but no further details of his description were given.
Thames Valley Police were called at 7.17pm.
