Appeal for witnesses after Newbury assault




Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Bartholomew Street, Newbury.

The incident occurred on April 23 at around 7.50pm.

A 23-year-old man suffered head and facial injuries during the attack but he did not require hospital treatment.

Investigating officer PC Katherine Darling, based at Reading police station, said: “We believe that the victim has been injured during an assault.

“I would like to appeal to anyone who may have any information about this incident to come forward. You can get in touch by calling 101 and quoting reference number 43210173215.”
