Appeal for witnesses after motorist drives at Newbury cyclist




A CYCLIST was knocked from his machine after a motorist drove at him.

Police have issued the following appeal: “We are looking for witnesses where a male on a bicycle has been driven at by a white BMW 320d near Hethertons Bakery on Bartholomew Street and The Wharf leading to the Market Place, causing the male to be knocked from his bicycle.

“The offence took place on December 17 at approximately 9.56am on Bartholomew Street.

“If you have any information please call in on 101 with reference number 43240609253.”
