Woman remains in hospital a week after collision

A woman injured in a crash near Theale remains in hospital with serious injuries.

Police are appealing for information about the three-vehicle crash, which occurred on the A340 Tidmarsh Road on Tuesday, December 6.

A black Vauxhall Corsa, a white Ford Transit van and a red Nissan Juke were involved in a collision at the junction with Englefield Road at around 6.25pm.

A woman driving one of the vehicles sustained serious injuries and was taken to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford, where she remains.

Investigating officer PC Brendan Austin said: "I would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident to call police on 101.

"In particular, we would like to hear from anyone who may have been around the area at the time of the incident."
