Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a dangerous driving incident that occurred in Newbury




A man has been charged in connection with an alleged dangerous driving incident in a Newbury car park.

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for witnesses to the incident that occurred in the car park of Sainsbury's in Hectors Way.

At around 2.30pm last Wednesday (October 6) officers attempted to stop a blue BMW 118D in the car park of the supermarket.

The car did not stop and continued driving. No one was injured.

Investigating officer, PC Rachael Hall, based at Newbury police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.

“Further, I’d ask any motorists who were in the car park at around this time to check dash-cam footage in case it may have captured something that could assist with the investigation.
