Newbury resident appeals for sightings of missing tortoise Keith

A tortoise, known as Keith, has gone missing around the Bartlemy Road area in Newbury, writes Aneesa Ahmed.

Keith is a 12-year-old Herman tortoise who is approximately 12 inches long.

The tortoise was last seen on Sunday at around 2.30pm in the garden of Charlotte Buckett’s home on Bartlemy Road.

The garden backs on to allotments and Miss Buckett believes that there is a possibility that Keith managed to get through into there.

She said: "Keith is a much loved family pet, missed by us all."
