Application submitted to turn Grade II-listed Thatcham barn into house

Plans have been submitted to turn an empty agricultural barn in Thatcham into a house.

Architects have submitted the plans for The English Barn on Chapel Street.

There have been two previous applications to convert the grade II listed building, one to use it commercially in 2006, and the other to turn it in to a four bed house in 2012. Neither was carried out.

The main barn access doors at each end will be kept at full height and glazed.

Developers have also added in two bat boxes.
