West Berkshire Council planners consider application to turn Bridge Street shop in Hungerford into housing




AN application for planning permission has been submitted in respect of a premises in 'the Bond Street of Berkshire'.

The proposal is to convert Styles Silver at 12, Bridge Street, Hungerford, back into a purely domestic use.

Until recently the two front rooms were occupied by Styles Silver who have now relocated to 3, Bridge Street.

The application proposes no changes to the Grade II listed building other than removal of the Styles Silver signage from the front elevation.

Bridge Street has been dubbed 'the Bond Street of Berkshire' for its upmarket businesses.
