Armistice Day service in Thatcham today (Friday)

All are welcome to the Royal British Legion led service at the war memorial

AN Armistice Day service will take place in Thatcham today (Friday).

The service will be held by the Royal British Legion and it will take place at 10.50am at the war memorial in Bath Road.

All are welcome to attend.

The Remembrance Sunday parade in Thatcham will then be held on Sunday (13) from 10.30am.

The parade will start at the Kingsland Centre car park, off The Moors and go along Bath Road to a service at the war memorial.

It will then process to St Mary's Church, Church Gate.

Parts of the town will be closed to traffic while the parade takes place.
