Army vehicle involved in A34 collision

One lane of carriageway closed following incident this morning (Wednesday)
AN army vehicle was involved in a collision with a car on the A34 this morning (Wednesday) causing rush hour problems for drivers.
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Rebecca Webber said police were called at 8.30am with reports of the incident near the northbound East Ilsley stretch of the road.
She said an army vehicle and a blue Ford Focus had collided.
The northbound carriageway was closed as the vehicles were moved from the road, but was re-opened at around 9.15am.
No injuries were sustained and no-one was arrested.
