Arrest following lorry and car collision in Newbury

According to Ellie Grey, of the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, one pump from Newbury was called at 12.34am to Shaw Road, a short distance from Newbury Fire Station, after a collision involving a car and lorry.
No-one was trapped and firefighters made the vehicles safe, before leaving the scene at 12.47pm.
Thames Vallety Police have confirmed the 31-year-old driver of a Renault Clio was arrested on suspicion of drink driving in connection with this incident.
He was released on bail until September 1.
Ambulance services were also at the scene. No-one was injured.
