Reading Magistrates' Court issues arrest warrant for Newbury man




AN arrest warrant has been issued for a man accused of burglary and possessing a knuckle duster.

Robert Waite had been due at Reading Magistrates' Court on Thursday, June 16.

The 30-year-old, of London Road, Newbury, is accused of entering a home in Kestrel Close, Thatcham, between November 14 and November 17 last year as a trespasser and stealing a tin containing cash.

Mr Waite is further charged with possessing an offensive weapon, namely a knuckle duster, at Bregawn House in Racecourse Road, Newbury, on November 17 last year.

He did not turn up for the hearing and the court issued a warrant for his immediate arrest.
