Reading Magistrates' Court issues arrest warrant for Woolton Hill man
AN arrest warrant has been issued for a man accused of drug-driving while uninsured.
John Griffiths had been due to answer the charges at Reading Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 7.
But he did not turn up.
The 42-year-old, of Broadlayings, Woolton Hill, is accused of driving a Volkswagen Golf when the amount of the Class A-controlled drug cocaine in his system exceeded the specified limit.
He is further charged with driving without insurance and driving without a valid test certificate.
All the offences were said to have been committed in Queen's Road, Newbury, on Saturday, February 5.
Magistrates issued a warrant for Mr Griffiths' immediate arrest.
