Reading Magistrates' Court: Thatcham man must compensate attack victims

A THATCHAM resident who attacked a man and a woman has been ordered to pay both of them compensation.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Monday, April 19, was Kevin James Goodman of Montacute Drive.
He admitted assaulting Stacey Revens and Christian Gough by beating them in Newbury on September 18 last year.
Mr Goodman was conditionally discharged for 12 months.
However, he was ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £22.
In addition, Mr Goodman was ordered to pay Ms Revens and Mr Gough £100 each in compensation.
