Attempted snatch theft in Newbury on Saturday (14)

The incident occurred at between 9pm and 9.30pm.
The victim, a 32-year-old woman was walking along London Road, Newbury in the direction of the Clock Tower.
As she approached the mini-roundabout at the Parkway junction, she felt her handbag being pulled from behind.
The woman managed to hang on to it, and the offender escaped into Parkway.
The offender, a white man, is described as between 18 and 22 years old.
He wore a dark coloured top and trousers with a grey coloured beanie.
He rode a dark coloured bicycle with a red flashing back light.
PC Nigel Woodall, from Newbury Police Station said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen the attack or who knows anyone who fits the description to come forward.”
