Awards for Trinitys outstanding pupils
Almost 30 awards were handed out by Newbury Weekly News managing director Adrian Martin.
Among the recipients were Lily Wing, who was given the Key Stage 4 Leadership award, and Shaun Lavender and Bethany Coopey for the Key Stage 5 Leadership award.
Tom Barry, Tom May and Sam Goodwin received awards for being outstanding students in their respective year groups.
Headteacher Charlotte Wilson said that the evening marked another successful year for pupils.
“The event was extremely well attended, with past and present students coming together to receive exam certificates and subject prizes for all their hard work and efforts,” she said.
“It was fantastic to see past students returning from university to receive their awards and celebrate with fellow students, family and staff.”
Mr Martin, who talked about the importance of hard work during his speech, said: “It was an honour to be part of their presentation evening because it allows me to take part in their success.
“It was great to see all the students receiving their awards and also to see that they were so well supported by their family, friends and their teachers.”
