B4640 currently closed due to fallen tree and cables

THE B4640 Newtown stretch between The Swan and Tot Hill Services is currently closed due to a fallen tree and cables.
SSE spokesman Gavin Steel said that the company had been alerted to the incident by police at around 2.15pm.
He said that he did not have exact details on the number of people affected by the downed cable or how long the work would take but SSE had had reports from customers that two supplies were off.
He added that only a small number of people were likely to be affected, around 10, and that engineers were isolating the supply to get the line repaired.
