Reading Magistrates' Court: Newbury man jailed for breaching court order




A MAN has been sent back to prison for defying court orders.

In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Friday, June 17, was Darren Brown.

The 42-year-old, of Northway, Newbury, admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from a period of imprisonment.

Mr Brown was sent back to prison for seven days.

Magistrates said it was not the first time Mr Brown had breached the terms of his release from prison under licence.

He has previous convictions including wounding with intent, false imprisonment and blackmail.
