Balloons to light up the sky at the Streatley Night Glow
Dozens of hot air balloons will illuminate the night sky at the annual Streatley Night Glow next week.
Weather permitting, the event will take place at the Streatley Recreation Ground on Monday.
At 7pm, balloons will be unpacked and will start to inflate and at 9pm burners will be lit and the balloons will ascend.
Amanda Stewart, who was present at the event last September, said: “It really was an awesome sight on a balmy September evening.”
As well as the balloons, there will also be an Italian food truck on the recreation ground serving pasta, paninis and soft drinks.

The Night Glow event gets its name as the balloons light their burners after dusk, making the night sky ‘glow’.
Although some of the balloons will float, most remain tethered to the ground and do not fly.
