Bantam show this weekend in Newbury

Last year, thousands of visitors turned out to Northcroft Leisure Centre to see a large display of bantams to see the Bantam Classic Poultry Show over Saturday and Sunday, hosted by the Reading and District Bantam Society and featuring more than 2,000 birds and eggs.
And this year, the Reading and District Bantam Society’s Open Poultry Championship will again open its doors to the public.
The show is unique in that it is a bantam only show, rather than all types of chickens, with breeders competing for prize money.
Doors open today (Saturday) from 10am until 5pm and tomorrow from 10am until 2.30pm.
Admission costs £3.50 per day or £4.50 for the whole weekend. Children under 16 go free.
