Be it a carnival, charity duck race or community market you fancy, it's on today (Sun)





The race, organised by the Thatcham and District Rotary Club, will begin at noon at the Rowbarge, Woolhampton.
Entry costs £1 per duck with all proceeds going towards local charities.
Thatcham is also set to host its first community market from 10am to 1pm today.
The market will offer community organisations and local people the opportunity to promote their activities or sell homemade goods and will take place at The Broadway Green.
From 11am, Newbury Market Place is expected to draw in the crowds to watch as competitiors from up and down the country battle it out for the title of England’s strongest man and strongest junior 2014.
A carnival atmosphere will be in full swing in Hungerford by 1pm, with activities and entertainment kick-starting in the town, ahead of the carnival procession at 3pm, commencing from John O’Gaunt School.
It will travel through Priory Road, down the High Street and complete on Charnham Street.
Meanwhile, if you fancy taking advantage of the British sunshine, Newbury Tennis Club is holding an open day from noon till 4pm, including free tennis coaching taster sessions, refreshments and a competition to test your serve speed, with other offers on memberships prices also available.
And for a laid back afternoon, why not head to Victoria Park, where Watership Brass will be performing in the band stand between 3pm and 5pm.
