Beale Wildlife Park hosting teddy bears' picnic over the Queen's Platinum Jubilee weekend

Beale Wildlife Park hopes to throw Berkshire’s largest teddy bears’ picnic over the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend.

Every lunchtime from Thursday to Sunday there will be a teddy bear picnic at the park, and visitors to Beale are being encouraged to bring their own soft toys to join in the fun.

Along with 160 different animal species to see, the park will also have stilt walkers dressed as animals, a bubble specialist and a monster inflatable slide as part of its jubilee celebrations.

Beale Wildlife Park’s CEO Lucy Costello said: “We really want to help our visitors to create some happy memories of this very special national celebration.”
