Beedon Country Wives launch saucy calendar
The models from the Beedon Country Wives Calender donned their glad rags for the official launch party on Friday night.
In recent weeks Sue Blackman and friends have been getting their baubles out at Yattendon Estate’s Christmas Tree Farm and stripping off at other unlikely locations to create the saucy stocking filler.
Joining Mrs Blackman in the buff were wives or partners Helen Estlea, Kate Shaw, Sarah Rowland, Lisa Black, Julia Deacon, Mandy Nicholls, Mary Worby, Nicki Alderton, Deborah Rowland and Clare Watts.
But on Friday it was time to warm up again with a few congratulatory drinks in The Coach at Worlds End, where 41-year-old mother of two Mrs Blackman usually works behind the bar.
The calenders sold like hot cakes but they are also available, priced £7, from Vicars Game in Ashampstead, Chieveley Village Stores, Chieveley Garage, the Langley Hall Inn and The Coach at Worlds End and The Stag at Leckhampstead.
The proceeds from the Beedon Country Wives calenders will go to the gynaecology cancer research fund The Eve Appeal and to The Churchill Hospital, an Oxford-based centre of excellence for cancer services and other specialties.
