Beenham Primary school closure after boiler fire

Two pumps were called at 7.45am this morning, from fire stations in Tilehurst and Whitley Wood, after smoke was seen coming from the school's boiler room.
Firefighters, who discovered a small amount of smoke, checked and isolated the power, before leaving the scene at 8.20am.
No-one at the school was available for comment.
