Bees swarming in Newbury




Hundreds of insects descend on Northbrook Street

A swarm of bees has set up shop in Newbury and has clustered around Cote in Northbrook Street.

Resident Chris Partridge uploaded this video of the swarm

Bees swarm when a new colony is formed and sees the queen bee leave the old colony with the workers.

A swarm can comprise of tens to thousands of bees.
