Berkshire archaeology group to hold conference at Newbury school





There will be six talks and an opportunity to go on a site visit following the main conference.
Topics will include 20th century military sites in West Berkshire, Mapledurham Watermill and the steam mechanisation of agriculture.
The site visits include Greenham Common, Historic Newbury and Crux Easton Wind Engine.
Advanced booking for the event is required and costs £11 before April 24 and £12 afterwards.
Registration is from 9am and the conference starts at 10am and finishes at about 4.45pm.
