Berkshire Farm Girl live from Harper Adams University on BBC talking about filming Countryfile for Harvest special
Tune into BBC Radio Berkshire this morning (Tuesday) at 10.30am to hear Eleanor Gilbert talking to presenter Sarah Walker about her experience filming for BBC.
Last Sunday, BBC Countryfile broadcast a Harvest special which also looked to the future and the role of technology in farming.
A crew visited Harper Adams University, where Eleanor is in her second year, to find out more about how technology could change they way farmers spend their day.
Eleanor was interviewed on the programme and talked about how she may not be spending so much time in the tractor in the future and how skill sets may change to incorporate using a table and controlling 'lots of little robots'.
If you missed the programme last Sunday you can catch up on iPlayer or listen to Eleanor talking about it this morning on BBC Radio Berkshire at 10.30am.
Eleanor combines working on her family farm - Rookery Farm near Newbury - with her studies at Harper Adams and is also a keen advocate of farming and spreading the word about the world of agriculture.
