Berkshire Farm Girl visits Beedon Primary School

Pupils at Beedon Primary School enjoyed a special treat before breaking up for half term last week.

Eleanor Gilbert, also known as 'Berkshire Farm Girl', visited the school on Friday (February 10) to educate pupils about local farming.

Year 5 and 6 classes particularly enjoyed inspecting the tractor.

Pupils have been researching how global warming is impacting the farming industry.

The visit has enhanced their understanding with new information they can add to leaflets they are making on this topic in class.
