Berkshire Farm Girl Eleanor Gilbert to appear on Countryfile on BBC this evening
West Berkshire will be starring on the BBC this evening as Berkshire Farm Girl Eleanor Gilbert appears on Countryfile.
The show, titled 'Harvest Special', will be broadcast at 6.05pm on BBC1.
It will focus on the methods used for harvest on farms, such as the combines, tractors, trailers and balers, but it'll also consider the 'big changes' that are on the horizon for British agriculture and how the harvests will change.
The show will "turn its eyes to the future and meet the machines and robots that could be the farmers of the future".
Harper Adams University - a specialist agriculture and rural economy university - will also feature in the show, where Ms Gilbert is currently studying.
