The Movement for Good Awards, created by the Benefact Group, encourages Berkshire residents to nominate charities to receive share of £1 million




Berkshire residents are being encouraged to nominate their favourite local charities to receive a share of £1 million.

The Movement for Good Awards, created by the Benefact Group, is set to donate over £1m to UK charities in 2025.

Winning organisations will be drawn at random and will either receive a £1,000 grant or, if they win a special sector-specific draw, will receive £5,000.

Local charities that have benefited in the past include Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue, the primary search resource for Thames Valley Police in the county.
