Berkshire Youth restarts Brightwalton youth club
A youth club affiliated with Berkshire Youth will open at Brightwalton Village Hall on April 17, serving five to 11-year-olds in Brightwalton and the surrounding villages.
The club will receive full guidance from the charity on funding, templates and policies, training and ideas for activities.
It will be open in the village hall from 5.30pm to 6.30pm each Monday, providing young people with opportunities to engage in sports and learn new skills.
Berkshire Youth also offers six free sessions as part of its SPLAT programme. The multi-sport sessions are delivered in-person by a professional sports coach.
Brightwalton Parish Council is also helping to fundraise and coordinate the project, and more volunteers are needed.
The club is keen to hear from any local residents interested in sharing their skills and enthusiasm.
