West Berkshire road ‘liable to flodding’, according to new sign
Heavy rain and thunder are due to batter the district today (Saturday), the Met Office has warned.
And some areas may be liable to flooding – or ‘flodding’ – according to this new road sign.
The blunder was spotted by drivers along the Lambourn Road between The Woodspeen restaurant and Snake Lane in Woodspeen.
The sign is, of course, meant to read ‘flooding’.
Flodding. Well, that means something else.
Have you spotted any more goofs on our roads? We’d love to see them.

But on a serious note. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms from 9am until 6pm.

It said, “frequent heavy showers and thunderstorms” are expected for much of today, before fading from the west during the “mid to late afternoon”.
Stay safe people.
