BID to hold annual meeting next week

BID members - chiefly those businesses based in BID district (which covers the centre of Newbury) - are invited to attend the meeting at Broadway House, 4-8 The Broadway, Newbury, starting at 6pm.
The BID - which is mainly financed by its members - was established last year after town centre businesses voted by a strong mandate to establish a the first Business Investment District in Newbury, an initiative which runs for an initial five-year term.
The annual meeting will be an opportunity to hear of the work undertaken by the BID in its first year. marketing Newbury to the widest possible audience using a structured and professional marketing strategy; developing links between organisations to plan activities and events that will be of benefit to visitors, members, and its various partners; and encouraging dialogue between members, the visiting public and other interested partners to enhance and promote the town centre.
