Hungerford Rotary Club Santa Fun Run

Despite some very cold weather this year's annual Santa Fun Run, organised by Hungerford Rotary Club, was a roaring success.

With more than 60 entrants covering a course which included Hungerford High Street, the canal towpath and Hungerford common, the runners and lots of their dogs endured the cold and the rain to claim their medal for finishing.

Rotarian Llewellyn Robins said: "The race was a great family outing and one elf was even carried around by Santa himself."

The winner's trophy was awarded to local author Alex Milne-Wright who runs Hungerford Bookshop with his wife Emma.
