Bikers holding hospital fundraiser

Members of the Newbury chapter of the Abaddon Motorcycle Club will be holding a fun-packed afternoon of events for all the family.
There will be a penalty shoot-out and face-painting for children, while remote-control tanks navigate a miniature assault course, and podium gladiators do battle.
There will also be a series of stalls, refreshments and a raffle, and all proceeds will go to the West Berkshire Community Hospital.
The President of the Newbury chapter, known a Spike, said that the event would be a fun day out while helping to raise money for a great local cause.
This is the first time that the chapter has held a local fundraising event and now the club is aiming to hold two fundraisers a year for different local causes, while also offering a chance for locals to meet club members and have a look at their motorbikes on display.
The event will run from 1pm at The Taste of England pub.
