Bishop of Mityana at Woolton Hill school

The Rt Revd Stephen Kaziimba, who was travelling with his wife Margaret, and his chaplain, was in England for the inauguration of the Bishop of Winchester and during his stay he visited local schools with links to those in his region.
St Thomas’ is linked to a primary school in Bulera. The bishop was welcomed by the chairman of governors, Steve Smith, and a group including the Rev Christine Dale and the Rev Dodie Marsden.
After the assembly, the bishop and his wife sang a hymn for pupils, accompanied by his chaplain on drums.
A spokeswoman for the school, Debbie West, said: “The children quickly picked up the tune and words and joined in. The bishop said a prayer for St Thomas’ and our linked school.
