Springtime flowers blooming lovely in West Berkshire

Every year West Berkshire is lucky enough to be treated to the beautiful sight of bluebells carpeting the woods.

Over the past month our photographer, Phil Cannings, has seen numerous blankets of blue as he's travelled around the district – and beyond.

So as spring comes to a close next week and the bluebells all begin to die away for another year, we thought it was the perfect time to enjoy some of his photographs of these delicate little flowers as they blossomed throughout May.
