Blaze destroys Mortimer shed and damages surrounding trees

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue spokeswoman, Ellie Gray, said one pump from Mortimer and another from Whitley Wood fire stations were called at 8.58pm to the shed fire in St Mary’s Road.
The blaze was extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using two hosereels.
The 4m x 2m shed was completely destroyed in the blaze.
The cause was not known.
Firefighters left the scene at 9.24pm.
