Police search for missing woman from Hungerford, confirm they have found a body

A body has been found in the search for a missing woman.

Thames Valley Police confirmed that a body has been discovered during its search for Alison.

The 65-year-old went missing from Hungerford earlier this week.

Formal identification has not yet taken place but her family have been informed.

A police statement added: “Out thoughts and sympathies are with her loved ones at this extremely difficult time.”
