Boris bunny proves huge pull at Newbury library

They were there to see what he would be called, following a two-week competition to name that bunny.
Boris proved the winning name, picked by eight-year-old Louis Jefferies, of Kintbury.
At 23 inches long (nose to tail) and with seven-inch ears, Boris was almost as big as some of the children who gathered to pet him.
His owner Jenny Lillycrop, of Thatcham, said:“He loved it and was a really good boy. There were loads of children petting him and feeding him cabbage and (rabbit) milk drops.”
She added that Boris narrowly missed out on snatching the ‘world’s biggest rabbit’ title after Mrs Lillycrop discovered this honour belonged to a 3.5-stone bunny called Darius, from Worcester.
