Boy knocked down by car in Thatcham

Police were called to the incident in Northfield Road at about 3.28pm.
The boy was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading with injuries which police said were not thought to be life-threatening.
The driver of the Fiat Punto was uninjured.
The road was closed for about 30 minutes but has since been re-opened.
