Boyband coming to Newbury

Newbury Racecourse has announced today (Tuesday) that The Wanted are to play Party in the Paddock

BOYBAND, The Wanted, are to be the first act to play at Party in the Paddock at Newbury Racecourse this year, and tickets go on sale in one hour (10am).

The band will perform their tracks including All time Low, Heart Vacancy and Lose My Mind on Saturday, May 21.

The Party in the Paddock series features a series of music acts live after racing and, last August, 30,000 turned out to see Irish heartthrobs, Westlife, perform.

Nathan Sykes, from The Wanted, said: "We can't wait to play at Newbury Racecourse this May.

"It sounds loads of fun and something a bit different, performing after an evening at the races.”

The three-night Party in the Paddock events started in 2007 and have so far attracted well-known bands such as Madness, Simply Red and UB40.
