Bradfield farm outbuilding 50 per cent destroyed in fire




Firefighters from 4 local stations battle blaze

FIREFIGHTERS from four local stations battled a blaze in a Bradfield farm outbuilding this morning (Tues).

Crews were called at 6.50am from fire stations in Dee Road, Tilehurst, Pangbourne, Whitley Wood and Caversham Road, Reading, to a farm outbuilding in Dark Lane.

The outbuilding was well alight.

No-one was hurt.

Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using two hosereels.

The cause was put down to an electrical fault.

The outbuilding was 50 per cent destroyed in the blaze.

Firefighters left the scene at 7.42am
